Passengers: 1 to 6 Seated: up to 6 Prelude, a 54' cutter-rigged ketch, was built in 1980 in Santa Ana, California. Although she's a modern day yacht, she's built along beautiful traditional lines with a bowsprit, clipper bow, teak brightwork, and brass and bronze fittings. In 1984 we sailed her from the west coast of Florida to NYC. Since then we sailed her on 28 passages between NYC and the Eastern Caribbean.and dropped anchor in many ports in Bermuda, the Virgins, the Leewards, the Windwards, the Grenadines, Grenada, Venezuela, Puerto Rico. the Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, and the East Coast. We've put over 75,000 miles (over three times the distance around the world) under her keel. |
